大震災から一年に。水戸市街地は取り壊しされたビルや家屋の空き地が目立っている。
再建されず、そのまま更地になっているところがほとんど。多くが駐車場になっているが、ここに来る目的も用事も減っている。よって閑古鳥が鳴いて雑草が繁栄する。
