そのあたりの解説も見たこと無いので本家フォーラム探したところ
EU3の解説みてくれとしか書いてなくて
EU3wiki 見てきたら

ということで一部でも必要なファイルがないと起動しなくなるから
あんまり使ってるのを見かけない模様。
手元にあるMODだとAIIP 1.4 だけ使ってた。
経験的にはextend="map" は読んでくれなかったのでhistory/provinces も読んでくれないのかも
