Windows 10のカテゴリとして、Windows 10 IoTと呼ばれるものがあって、
そこに以下のエディションが有るわけか。
・Windows 10 IoT for industry devices (Desktop Shell, 1GB, x86)
・Windows 10 IoT for mobile devices (Modern shell, 512MB RAM, x86 or ARM)
・Windows 10 IoT for small devices (No shell, 256MB RAM, x86 or ARM)
industory devicesはx86専用だから動作しないけど、mobile devicesなら
Raspberry Pi 2はメモリ1GBだから十分性能を満たしているね。
これら三つ含めてWindows 10 IoTで、Raspberry Pi 2にWindows 10 IoTが提供される
ということは、性能からしてmobile devicesとしてモダンシェルありで動かせるというわけか。
