日本財団とは
益財団法人日本財団は、公営競技の1つである競艇（ボートレース）の収益金をもとに、
海洋船舶関連事業の支援や公益・福祉事業、国際協力事業を主に行っている公益財団法人。
2011年3月31日までの名称は、財団法人日本船舶振興会（にっぽんせんぱくしんこうかい、英: SASAKAWA Foundation）。
要は公営賭博を取り仕切ってる組織。
創設者の笹川良一なる人物は海外のwikiではちゃんと
第二次世界大戦後に戦犯として投獄されたギャングと書かれてる
