そのIP-Utgerd社が獲ってるミンククジラのアイスランド国内需要の大部分は、そこを訪れる外国人観光客向けのレストランらしい。
例によって、クジライルカ保護団体（WDC）などのアホ愛誤が鯨肉食をジャマしようとしているみたいだが、それでも十数％の観光客が鯨肉を食べるという。
何と言われようと鯨肉はアイスランド名物なんだよ！

In 2009, a staggering 40% of tourists visiting Iceland admitted that they had eaten whale meat.

However, the sad fact remains that minke whaling in Iceland is still conducted almost totally to service tourist demand, under the mistaken belief that they are eating a 'traditional' dish.
けれども悲しいことに、鯨肉食がアイスランドの「伝統」という誤った認識のせいもあり、ほぼ全て観光客向けのミンククジラ肉提供がまだ続いている。
